Religion and Worldviews

At Trafalgar Schools’ federation we teach RE (Religious Education) through our RW (Religion and World Views) curriculum. As educators we have a responsibility to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of children at the school and of society and prepare the children for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. At Trafalgar we aim to provide our children with an understanding, curiosity and respect for the different religions, beliefs and cultures that make up the world they live in. Teaching of RW includes class and small groups work, discussions, trips and visitors to school.

Religion and World Views forms part of the Understanding the World area of learning within the EYFS curriculum.
