Enrichment activities: Children can be involved in a range of activities, including taking on responsibilities and participating in the wider life of the school.

Pupils are very proud to take on jobs and responsibilities around the school.

School Councillors

In September, we hold elections in each class. We all vote for a boy and a girl to become our class representatives for the School Council. We then meet regularly with Mrs Keefe and Mrs Burton to discuss issues which are important to our school.

Listening Friends

Listening Friends are trained and meet regularly to talk to Mrs Edwards about how things are going.  They take turns at playtime to help children deal with problems.  If a child has a worry about something they can come to talk to a Listening Friend.

Digital Leaders

Digital Leaders are trained to help pupils across the school understand, enjoy and use technology safely. They help Mrs Burton deliver online-safety assemblies, support children to log on and off and trial new apps, software and games.

T.I.G.E.Rs

The Trafalgar Infant Green Environmental Rangers (TIGERs) are nominated by class teachers in September.  Ms. Hutchins holds regular meetings to discuss ways to make our school more environmentally friendly.

Musical Maestros

Musical Maestros are chosen for their love and enthusiasm for music. They help Mrs Burton with music assemblies, choir rehearsals and performances and promoting music across the school both during lesson time and playtime.

The Governors, through their Charging Policy for Activities, make sure that enrichment activities are available for all families.
