We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with you regarding our recent formal assessments, including: Early Years GLD (Good Level of Development) the Y1 phonics test, Key Stage 2 SATS results, and our Y4 multiplication check,

The children at Trafalgar School have done exceptionally well. These achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication, the support from you as parents, and the unwavering commitment of our teaching staff.

 

Early Years

·         78% of children achieved the Reception Early Learning Goals.

Year 1 Phonics Screening
·         This year, 85% of children attained the phonic pass mark, which is 5% higher than the previous year.

Year 4 Multiplication Tests
·         This year, the 20 and over score was 80% vs 65% last year, which is a 15% increase.

·         Those achieving full marks (25/25) were 44% vs 23% last year, an impressive 21% increase.

SATS Highlights:
·         English Reading: Our children scored significantly above the national average (+12%), demonstrating their strong comprehension and analytical skills.

·         English Grammar, Punctuation, and Spelling: Exceptional performance, achieving 14% above the national average.

·         Mathematics: Outstanding results, 11% above national average, with students showcasing excellent problem-solving abilities and numerical understanding.

·         Science: Science outcomes were 10% above national average, showing a good base of scientific skills and knowledge to prepare them for secondary school.
